Call for Symposia
On behalf of the Hungarian Neuroscience Society (MITT), the Local Organizing Committee, and the Program Committee, we are pleased to welcome you to INC 2027, the upcoming annual meeting of the Society. INC 2027 will be held at the Hunguest Hotel Szeged (formerly Hunguest Hotel Forrás) in Szeged, Hungary, from January 27–29, 2027.
We now invite proposals for thematic symposia in the field of neuroscience, ranging from the molecular to the organ level. The goal of these sessions is to provide a forum for focused discussions on new and emerging topics in the field.
Each symposium will be 90 minutes in duration. We recommend including four to five speakers, with one or two chairs moderating the session. Each speaker will be allocated an 18–22 minute time slot, including discussion. We encourage organizers to invite at least one speaker from outside Hungary. MITT will support each selected symposium with €1,000. It is our intention to organize all symposia exclusively in person. Speakers listed in symposium proposals must have accepted the invitation prior to submission.
Symposium proposals should be prepared using the template below and submitted by email to deli.maria@brc.hu and farkas.eszter@szte.hu no later than September 4, 2026.

The Program Committee will evaluate all submitted proposals and select the symposia to be included in the scientific program of INC 2027. Organizers will be notified of the Committee’s decision by September 30, 2026. Abstracts from all selected symposium speakers must be submitted by the general abstract submission deadline.
